"The dress code for men and women in our society has changed a lot recently. I am satisfied with that. I 

am not saying that dress should be expensive. Why not dress modestly, but it should be neat. There are 

a lot of restrictions on our people to wear Peshwa clothes and wear jewelery. The untouchables were 

forbidden to wear filthy and torn clothes and silver ornaments, not to wear gold ornaments, but these 

restrictions are no more, but our old wives still use heavy and heavy silver ornaments like tode, tode, 

flowers, masola and jodvi. They should stop using it. It is not good to pierce the nose and stick a big 

nose in the nose. It should not be known from our dress that we belong to a certain caste. Otherwise, 

sometimes there are big panchayats. "

" आपल्या समाजातील स्त्री-पुरुषांच्या पोषाखात अलीकडे पुष्कळच चांगला बदल झाला आहे. याबद्दल मला 

समाधान वाटते. पोशाख भारी किंमतीचाच पाहिजे, असे माझे म्हणणे नाही. पोशाख साधा का असेना, पण तो 

व्यवस्थित पाहिजे. पेशवाईत कपडे वापरण्यावर व दागिने घालण्यावर आपल्या लोकांवर पुष्कळच निर्बंध होते. 

अस्पृश्यांनी मळके व फाटकेच कपडे वापरले पाहिजेत व चांदीचे दागिने वापरले पाहिजेत, सोन्याचे दागिने वापरता 

कामा नये असा निर्बंध होता. परंतु ते निर्बंध आता नाहीत. तरीही आमच्या जुन्या बाया वेळा, तोडे, फुल्या, मासोळ्या 

व जोडवी हे चांदीचे अवजड व बोजड दागिनेच वापरतात. त्यांनी ते वापरण्याचे सोडून दिले पाहिजे. नाकाला भोक 

पाडून भली मोठी नथ नाकात अडकविणेही बरे दिसत नाही. आपल्या पोषाखा वरून आपण अमुक एका जातीचे 

आहोत, असे ओळखता येता कामा नये. नाहीतर काहीवेळा मोठी पंचाईत होते. प्रत्येकाने आपल्या घरात १० आणे 

किंमतीचा बुद्धांचा फोटो लावावा."

"हमारे समाज में पुरुषों और महिलाओं के लिए ड्रेस कोड हाल ही में बहुत बदल गया है। मैं इससे संतुष्ट हूं। मैं यह 

नहीं कह रहा हूं कि पोशाक महंगी होनी चाहिए। मामूली पोशाक क्यों न हो, लेकिन यह साफ होना चाहिए। अछूतों 

को पहनने की मनाही थी गंदे और फटे कपड़े, और चांदी के गहने पहनने के लिए, सोने के गहने पहनने के लिए 

नहीं, लेकिन ये प्रतिबंध अब नहीं हैं, लेकिन हमारी पुरानी पत्नियां अभी भी भारी और भारी चांदी के गहने, टोड, 

फूल, मांस और जोड़ों का उपयोग करती हैं। उन्हें इसका उपयोग करना बंद कर देना चाहिए। नाक छिदवाना और 

नाक में बड़ी नाक चिपका देना अच्छा नहीं है। हमारे पहनावे से यह नहीं पता होना चाहिए कि हम एक निश्चित
